My name is Christina. My love for everything fitness started around the age of 16. In high school I was more of a music nerd than an athlete but began going to the same gym as my Mom and became interested in weight training. During college my interest in health and fitness grew and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition.
My journey with kettlebells started over 7 years ago when a friend recommended trying them. Kettlebells were a game changer. They have helped me rethink how to breathe, balance daily stresses and challenge myself on both a mental and physical level. Kettlebells have helped me to gain strength while losing fat and increase mobility and flexibility. After several years of kettlebell training I was inspired to enroll in the Russian Kettlebell Certification and later go on to attain my Level 2 Certification. I continue to search for new opportunities to further my knowledge and exposure to the art and practice of kettlebells and fitness as a whole.
Like many of us, I have worked in a typical office setting where we sit (and usually with poor posture) for most of the day. I understand the challenges faced trying to find time and motivation amidst very busy lives to pursue personal health and fitness goals. The way to change starts with the first step, which often times is the hardest part.
My mission as a coach is to help make you stronger, more confident, and have better endurance in your day-to-day life. I am here to guide you towards meeting your health and fitness goals using solid education, practical advice, motivation and encouragement. I enjoy utilizing a wide variety of training tools within training sessions to build functionality, strength, endurance and body awareness.
When I am not coaching you can find me tooling around in a powerlifting gym or gymnastics center, practicing yoga and meditation, journaling, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends or curled up with a good book.
