What to Expect
This actually depends on who you are and what you're looking for! Given my extensive experiences and education in psychology, I know that every person is different. You are you, and I need to react to that. Some people prefer to take a more cerebral approach to training and prefer to have me fully explain what we're doing as we're doing it (gradually building knowledge over time on things like biomechanics and exercise physiology), while others prefer to just have someone to talk to their day about while exercising. And of course, there are many people who don't want to talk all too much and just want to be pushed to give it their all during their training session. I am very flexible and can give you whatever it is you need and desire in a training session. One of my greatest strength is that I have the experience to adapt and be the trainer you want. I'm here to help you, I really don't mind having my style of training reflect your own most-ideal style. Though there is one thing you can definitely anticipate. I have always been the type of person to commit to those I'm helping. I get invested easily and if someone is in need I will do everything in my power to help them as best I can. As a client of mine, I will work hard for you and make sure you have the highest quality support system possible. This is true outside of the gym through digital/text communication as well as inside of the gym. Finally, given my background in exercise science and psychology academic research, it is ensured that all advice and insight I provide will be accurate and represent evidence-based practices. There is a ton of misinformation floating around the fitness industry and so many people misinterpret peer-reviewed research. I am not one of them. If you work with me, you'll be able to trust that you're being taught correct information that will lead to you having the best approach possible in reaching your goals.
